Wright Brothers Construction Company, Inc., is searching for qualified, experienced bridge carpenters for our projects located in Alabama and Georgia.

- Responsibilities:
- Forming and pouring/finishing bridge columns, pier caps, abutments, bridge decks, retaining walls, drainage structures, and misc. items
- Setting bridge deck panels and beams
- Setting up and running Bidwell bridge deck concrete paving machines
- Tying/setting rebar cages
- Crane rigging and flagging
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred but not required
- Must be able to understand work directions and communicate effectively with job site supervisors and fellow employees.
- Constant physical effort, including standing, is required during a regular work shift of at least eight hours per day. Employee must be able to stand for extended periods of time, and to stoop, bend, and crouch as required to perform Key Duties. Must be able to lift 50lbs
Responsibilities:
- Lays out work from plans or sketch.
- Builds wooden structures; such as concrete forms, falsework, scaffold, shoring, etc.
- Builds in place to line and grade or prefabricates in units to be erected later, forms for bridge, drainage structure, wall, etc.
- May perform other related duties.
- Must be able to build forms to proper dimensions and load requirements.
PHYSICAL DEMAND:
- Constant use of hand tools. Lifting forms and form materials. Working on high structures.
