Dickson/ Hickman/ Williamson County, TN: I-840 CONSTRUCTION (TDOT)

This project was from 0.5 mile northwest of I-40 to 0.9 mile southeast of state route 100.  The project consisted of the excavation of 6.5 million cubic yards of dirt and rock.  Additionally 9 span bridges, 7 frame bridges, and 12 concrete box culverts were constructed on the project.  The paving of the project was let in a separate contract.  The project was constructed in rural setting and the alignment was on new location.  The project is a portion of I-840, the loop around Nashville, TN.
