    Phase 7 involved construction of an 8.5 acre lined cell.  The project consisted of excavation to subgrade of approximately 75,000 cubic yards, placement of a 2’ thick clay liner system consisting of 28,000 cubic yards, installation of geomembrane liner by others, and placement of protective cover soil material comprised of 3,500 cubic yards of leachate stone and 12,000 cubic yards of soil material. The leachate collection system entailed 1,500 linear feet of 6” SDR 11 HDPE pipe, and approximately 80 linear feet of 18” HDPE sump riser pipes. Ancillary items include roadway construction, borrow area development, stormwater system upgrades, and permanent seeding.
