Wright Brothers Construction Company began construction of the new bridge over the French Broad River in Asheville, NC.
This is a two pier bridge, so each interior bent support will have five of these drilled shafts for a total of ten. This bridge is part of a larger industrial initiative by Biltmore Farms. The bridge, a 610-foot, five-lane bridge over the French Broad River, will connect the future industrial site and Brevard Road at the current entrance to the Blue Ridge Parkway access road.
